Financial Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Controller to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial governance, reporting, and accounting functions of the company.

About the Role
  • You will manage a high-performing accounting team, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to financial policies and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and enhance financial systems and internal control frameworks to improve accuracy, efficiency, and risk management.
Responsibilities
  • Accounting Leadership and Team Development:
    • Build, manage, and coach a high-performing accounting team aligned with company objectives.
    • Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to financial policies and regulatory standards.
  • Financial Systems and Internal Controls:
    • Develop and enhance financial systems and internal control frameworks to improve accuracy, efficiency, and risk management.
    • Ensure all processes are audit-ready and compliant with local financial and tax regulations.
  • Revenue and Expense Optimization:
    • Collaborate with department heads to analyze and optimize revenue streams and cost structures.
    • Identify areas for profitability improvement and propose cost-saving initiatives.
  • Budget Monitoring and Financial Analysis:
    • Assist in the preparation and review of annual budgets and forecasts.
    • Monitor performance against financial targets and deliver periodic variance analyses.
    • Provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
  • Audit Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Lead audit readiness and ensure compliance with government and industry regulations.
    • Maintain robust closing processes and review financial submissions before release.
