Job Title: Elementary Physical Education Teacher

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic teacher to join our team as an elementary physical education teacher. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and working with children, and will be able to create a fun and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Valid teaching certification in physical education or a related field
  • Experience working with elementary students

Essential Functions: Teach classes and courses as assigned following adopted curriculum, plan using unit/semester/quarterly plans and objectives, utilize best practices teaching techniques to achieve curriculum goals within the framework of the philosophy, assess the learning of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.

Interpersonal Functions: Recognize the need for good public relations, represent the school in a favorable and professional manner to the school's constituency and the general public, develop and maintain rapport with students, parents, and staff by treating them with friendliness, dignity, and consideration.

Physical Demands: Moderate physical activity is required for this position, including standing, walking, and lifting. A high level of energy and stamina is also necessary.
