Job Overview

This is a Compliance Medical Assistant role that involves assisting the Compliance team member in maintaining current laws, procedures, and guidelines for all assigned states.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of college education and experience in a medical practice dealing with billing, including provider credentialing, authorizations, reimbursement, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and gather information from internal resources, websites, and other sources.
  • Summarize data and research payor guidelines.
  • Respond to email queries with accurate and precise information.
  • Review and update assigned fee schedules as required.
  • Manage excel spreadsheets and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of college education.
  • Experience in a medical practice dealing with billing, preferably in Behavioral Health.
  • Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and computer skills, including Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word.
