Duties and Responsibilities
  • Verify the medical necessity of appeals submitted by providers.
  • Fax appeals to relevant parties in a timely manner.
  • Set reminders to follow up on appeal status, ensuring prompt communication with stakeholders.
  • Keep the team informed about progress on appeals, facilitating effective collaboration.
  • Evaluate provider ability to service new members, ensuring seamless integration into our operations.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, completing assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • At least two years of experience in a medical practice setting, encompassing billing, credentialing, authorizations, and reimbursement processes.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and computer skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
