Job Title: Embedded Linux Field Engineer for Devices/IoT

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Field Engineer, specializing in Embedded Linux for Devices and IoT. This role requires expertise in Linux distribution packaging, software design, system debugging, and embedded software development methodologies.

About the Role
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements and provide solutions related to Embedded Linux.
  • Participate in delivering select projects related to Embedded Linux.
  • Convey market requirements to key stakeholders and help develop or refine generic solutions to unlock market potential.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Extensive experience in Linux, Debian or Ubuntu preferred.
  • Distribution / Packaging experience (deb, rpm, ...).
  • Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot...).
  • Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Result-oriented, ability to multi-task.
  • A personal drive to meet commitments.
  • An humble learner and quick study.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings, company events, and conferences.
