We are currently looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst who will be working with Connext's Client in the United States of America.

What is the job?

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, including vendor invoicing, bank reconciliations, and credit card transaction monitoring. This role supports financial accuracy, reporting, ERP integration, and continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices, customer payments, and accounts payable (A/P) bills in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Conduct daily QBO bank feed reviews and perform month-end bank reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts.
  • Ensure accurate job costing and allocation of direct expenses to the correct general ledger (GL).
  • Work with ERP systems integrated with QBO (e.g., IntegraRental, Better Software) and manage Divvy credit card transactions via
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for transaction tracking, analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Manage A/P and A/R mailboxes in Outlook, and assist with accounting projects and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in accounting principles, including debits/credits, accruals, and general ledger entries.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable (A/P) and 1 year handling bank/credit card transactions.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (minimum 1 year).
  • Maintains exceptional accuracy in financial transactions with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates effective collaboration, knowledge sharing, and meeting team deadlines.
  • Adaptable, eager to learn, and communicates clearly with team members, vendors, and clients.
