Accounting Professional Opportunity

The role of Accounting Executive involves supporting a Chairman's private interests and investments. This position requires strong technical expertise in accounting, a proactive approach to ensuring accurate financial operations, compliance, and reporting across a diverse investment portfolio.

This includes maintaining accurate records of investment portfolios and overseeing all related accounting entries. Additionally, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the family office and related entities is crucial. Ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of accounts, including investment vehicles, trusts, and holding companies, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of investment portfolios and oversee all related accounting entries.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the family office and related entities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of accounts, including investment vehicles, trusts, and holding companies.
Financial Transactions
  • Process and monitor payments, receipts, and intercompany transactions.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and investment accounts.
  • Liaise with Fund Managers, Bankers, and System Administrators to resolve discrepancies.
Investment Portfolio Management
  • Track and record investment activities, including equities, real estate, private equity, and alternative assets.
  • Maintain accurate records of asset valuations, income, and distributions.
  • Assist with due diligence and documentation for new investments.
Process Optimization & Controls
  • Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a family office, private wealth, or investment environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good spoken and written English and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a small team.
