Job Title: Experienced Financial Director

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Responsibilities include overseeing accounting operations, managing audits, accounting teams, and financial processes in high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, month-end close, general ledger management, tax filings, and audit preparation.
  2. Ensure financial statements are prepared in compliance with US GAAP standards.
  3. Design, implement, and improve internal controls, accounting systems, and financial processes.
  4. Manage and mentor a high-performing accounting team ensuring clear delegation, performance tracking, and professional development.
  5. Lead the preparation and execution of audits liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
  6. Drive process improvements and standardization across the finance function.
  7. Monitor and manage working capital needs particularly in high-volume environments.
  8. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  9. Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership contributing insights for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

Qualifications:

  • 12–15 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
  • Strong experience managing audits and working with external auditors.
  • Demonstrated success in leading accounting teams and managing people in a remote setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a process-driven mindset.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
