Count Room Cash Handler

The Count Room is responsible for the accurate handling and counting of cash. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collection, transport, and issuance of stackers in a timely manner.
  • Daily cash count and recording of casino drop boxes and slot machine stackers with precision.
  • Sorting and counting of chips and currency, strapping, consolidating reports, and reconciling counted amounts accurately.
  • Balancing and exporting of the daily currency count efficiently.
  • Identification and reporting of suspected counterfeit currency promptly.
  • Collection and sorting of coins, cash, and cash equivalents from non-gaming funds and tip boxes effectively.
  • Replenishment and collection of funds from the Redemption Kiosk unit successfully.


Requirements:

  • A minimum requirement of at least a High School education or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to operate electronic counting equipment (e.g., note counters, counterfeit detectors).
  • Previous experience in cash handling is essential.
  • Basic mathematical calculations must be computed accurately.
