Accounts Receivable Specialist Role

This role is responsible for ensuring accurate payment allocation and receipt verification across banks and internal platforms.

  • Daily cash posting from various financial institutions.
  • Month-to-month or week-to-week cash to accounting reconciliation.
  • Design a complete reconciliation process around the lock box process.
  • Report on cash receipts and volume.
  • Update and maintain customer remittance information when reviewing remittance details.
  • Perform account reconciliations, investigate and resolve inquiries or discrepancies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Process daily cash postings from multiple financial institutions.
  2. Reconcile cash transactions on a regular basis.
  3. Develop and implement a comprehensive reconciliation process for lock box services.
  4. Analyze and report on cash receipts and volumes.
  5. Verify and update customer remittance information as needed.
  6. Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to account reconciliations.
Work Setup / Schedule
  • Remote
  • 9 PM – 6 AM (PH time)
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, including collections and contract management.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, and ConnectWise.
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented, goal-driven, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communicator with problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborative team player.
