Job Title: Lead Accounting Professional
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Lead Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the bookkeeping team.
Key Responsibilities- Bookkeeping and Operational Excellence: Ensure timely and accurate completion of all bookkeeping tasks, communicating with relevant authorities as necessary, reviewing and reconciling client accounts, preparing monthly financial reports, managing year-end accounts preparation, and proficiently handling end-to-end payroll.
- Client Communication and Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for daily bookkeeping queries, ensuring professional and timely responses, and escalating complex concerns to the Client Manager.
- Process Improvement and Documentation: Identify inefficiencies in workflows, recommend practical improvements, develop and maintain detailed documentation of bookkeeping processes, and record and track all work in the Practice Manager software.
- Reporting and Insight: Provide regular updates on client account performance and operational progress, highlighting recurring challenges or risks, and offering strategic solutions to mitigate them.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
