
Patient Services Liaison

Job Overview:
This role involves addressing patient inquiries and concerns, understanding patient needs by listening and interviewing, and coordinating information among patients, family members, medical personnel, and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to incoming calls according to established procedures and departmental standards.
- Assist patients in their queries and concerns.
- Gather patients' outstanding balances.
- Provide assistance to third-party entities with questions regarding patients' accounts.
- Make outbound collection calls according to procedure and departmental standards.
- Support patients in their billing inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Work collaboratively as a team player to support department and company goals and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A college graduate or at least 2 years of college studies, preferably in a field related to medicine.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Basic mathematical calculations skills.
- Detailed-oriented and organized.
- Familiarity with email usage.
- A motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Dependable and reliable.
