
Optimizing Amazon Inventory Levels for Sales Success

This role is focused on optimizing our inventory levels, ensuring they are always in sync with demand and aligned with sales targets. We need someone who can proactively manage inventory, prevent stockouts or overstock, and track expiration dates for our supplement products.
Key Responsibilities:Product Sourcing: Sourcing and restocking products to meet demand, ensuring that supply matches forecasting models.
Inventory Forecasting & Management: Proactively monitoring and managing inventory levels, using tools like Helium10. Anticipating and adapting to sales trends, seasonality, and marketing campaigns to optimize stock levels.
Expiration Management: Tracking product expiration dates and collaborating with the marketing team to prioritize sales for items nearing expiration.
Sales Channel Impact: Anticipating and managing the effects of new sales channels (like TikTok Shop and Facebook Ads) on inventory needs. Adapting forecasting based on shifting demand.
Proactive Reordering: Ensuring timely reordering of inventory by tracking low stock levels and setting reorder points with suppliers to prevent both stockouts and overstock.
Inventory Reporting: Providing regular updates and reports on inventory levels, potential stock issues, and forecasted needs.
Helium10 Platform Management: Utilizing Helium10 for accurate inventory forecasting and management. Experience with SoStocked is a plus.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with the marketing, ads, and operations teams to align inventory levels with sales strategies and ensure smooth, synchronized operations.
Experience in inventory management, product sourcing, and forecasting. Strong knowledge of tools like Helium10 and SoStocked. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
