The role of a Healthcare Specialist is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. As part of our team, you will be responsible for conducting clinical reviews of cases, performing intake and adjudication, and escalating to Medical Directors when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting clinical review of cases not meeting criteria requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- You will perform clinical intake and adjudicate or request additional clinical information, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care.
- In situations where cases do not meet established criteria, you will escalate to Medical Directors for further evaluation and guidance.
- A valid PRC and USRN license with a minimum of 2 years of bedside experience is essential for this role.
- At least 2 years of experience in triage phone handling is also required, demonstrating your ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in ER/ OR/ Medical Surgical/ UR/ UM/ Triage/ ICU/ Hemodialysis is preferred, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital in this role, enabling you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and communicate with patients and their families.
- Good knowledge of the healthcare domain is necessary for making informed decisions and providing high-quality patient care.
