Job Description

A Patient Service Representative role entails addressing patient queries and concerns by conducting interviews, understanding their needs, and coordinating information with various stakeholders to meet those needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming calls in accordance with established procedures and departmental standards.
  • Support patients in resolving their queries and concerns.
  • Collect outstanding patient balances.
  • Provide assistance to third-party entities regarding patient accounts.
  • Initiate outbound collection calls in adherence to procedure and departmental standards.
  • Offer support in billing-related queries and concerns.
  • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
  • Function as a team player and demonstrate support for department and company goals and policies.
  • Consistently maintain good attendance records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Preferrably a college graduate or at least two years of college education.
  • Degrees and courses related to the medical field are advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Detail-oriented individual.
  • Proficient in email usage.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Organized and able to set priorities.
