
Patient Financial Services Representative

The Patient Accounts Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing, collections, and patient account management processes. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer service-oriented mindset to address patient inquiries, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
This position involves reviewing daily reports of pending patient statements for accuracy, communicating directly with front office staff to resolve discrepancies, answering incoming patient calls through a designated extension line, and documenting all communications with patients in the NextGen billing system.
Patient account coordinators must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, BSN, be proficient in the English Language both written and verbal, and have a minimum of one-year experience in medical billing, patient responsibility, deductibles, co-insurance amounts, and self-pay patients.
A successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be highly organized, and have a strong attention to detail.
They will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Requirements- Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, BSN
