Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewals Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing assigned customer accounts on a day-to-day basis.

  • This includes working closely with sales teams, professional services, technical support, and sales operations to understand and resolve customer issues.

The primary focus of this position is on recurring revenue and software asset management in assigned accounts.

You will develop strong customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. To be a licensing expert and understand all the owned assets within a given account.
  2. A strong understanding of complex software quoting.
  3. An understanding of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Annual Contract Value (ACV), and Total Contract Value (TCV) Revenue Models.
  4. Work with professional services, technical support, and regional sales teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers.
  5. Work closely with customers during the Customer Journey for optimal retention.
  6. Direct relationship with sales teams to drive expansions.
  7. Review client requests with technical support, product management, and regional sales teams and escalate as necessary.
  8. Identify at-risk accounts, and take appropriate action and/or escalate as needed.
  9. Ensure positive customer experiences by proactively managing and growing customer relationships, including identifying key stakeholders.
  10. Proactively start the procurement/renewal process three months prior to the renewal date to ensure on-time renewals.
