Key Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate will serve as the initial point of contact for technical support inquiries from healthcare staff and providers.
  • Responsibilities include receiving, reviewing, and logging all incoming support requests via phone or email systems.
  • Creating clear, detailed, and accurate support tickets that capture relevant information to aid timely resolution is crucial.
  • Tickets must be created and submitted within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
  • Effective communication with end-users is vital, especially when dealing with clinical staff in time-sensitive situations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a healthcare environment, providing IT helpdesk or customer support services.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional documentation and organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • A comfort level interacting with healthcare professionals and understanding their support needs is required.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), or medical terminology is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact is critical.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ticketing systems or basic troubleshooting knowledge for hardware, software, and network issues is advantageous.
  • Understanding of HIPAA or data privacy compliance in a healthcare setting is beneficial.
