Job Description

The Sales Growth Strategist, Modern Trade Channel is responsible for driving sales growth and building strong customer partnerships in the Meat business. This role focuses on developing strategic plans and working closely with national retailers to deliver sales, distribution, and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Goal-Setting and Strategy Development
  • IDentify sales growth opportunities in the Modern Trade channel.
  • Develop the annual channel business plan, including strategies, resources, and key programs to drive sales and profitability.
  • Set performance goals and strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Strategy Communication and Execution
  • Clearly communicate company strategies, targets, and priorities to the Modern Trade team.
  • Ensure action plans capitalize on market opportunities and address challenges.
  • Oversee Customer Development Managers to align execution with team goals.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Ensure compliance with company standards for customer engagement, account planning, inventory, and receivables management.
  • Optimize coverage effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in foods, fresh/frozen goods, or produce.
  • At least 5 years of experience in modern trade and key account management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in team management.
