Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences through efficient communication and professional interaction.
Your primary role will involve managing high volumes of inbound calls, coordinating appointments, and responding to inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. You will also be required to make bookings, modify schedules, and confirm patient details across multiple practitioners and time zones.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain accurate patient information in our management system, coordinate follow-up appointments, and ensure documentation is compliant with privacy regulations.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong time management and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in patient management software and Microsoft Office is also essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Administration or a health-related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in a remote receptionist, administration, or customer service role (ideally in a medical or healthcare setting)
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and friendly tone
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in patient management software and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality protocols
- Work from home on a day shift, Monday to Friday
