About the Position
  • Collaborate with attorneys to collect, organize and review evidence and legal documents.
  • Support filings, trial preparations, and manage communications among parties involved.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit information from clients, witnesses, and experts.
  • Prepare relevant documents for real estate transactions.
  • Draft and review discovery documents in family law cases.
  • Organize and maintain evidence and legal documents.
  • Prepare, file, and serve legal documents.
  • Coordinate schedules and share information among parties.
  • Maintain organized systems for document management.
  • Assist with discovery by reviewing and producing documents.
  • Help prepare for trials by assembling exhibits and legal filings.
  • Participate in virtual legal proceedings as needed.
  • Summarize depositions, transcripts, and exhibits.
  • Create charts, graphs, and summaries for case presentation.
  • File legal documents with courts and serve opposing counsel.
  • Utilize legal software for document preparation and case tracking.
  • Record billable hours for invoicing purposes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Hold a certification or degree in paralegal studies.
  • Have experience working as a paralegal.
  • Require a Windows-based device.
  • Familiarity with real estate document preparation is beneficial.
  • Discovery experience in family law cases is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate directly with clients and witnesses is essential.
  • Skilled in organizing and managing legal documents and evidence.
  • Proficient in filing and serving legal documents.
  • Strong coordination and scheduling skills are required.
  • Knowledge of legal software and document management is necessary.
  • Assistance with trial preparations is vital.
  • Comfortable attending virtual legal proceedings is desirable.
  • Detail-oriented in summarizing transcripts and preparing visual data.
  • Ability to track billable hours for accurate invoicing.
