Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team at Australian Outsource Desk Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing financial records and reporting.

About the Role:

This is an on-site role that requires day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial management. Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating financial records, reconciling bank statements, preparing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and generating financial reports.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record as a Bookkeeper, preferably in an Australian context
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of Australian BAS, payroll, and tax systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required

Work Setup:

This part-time position involves working 20 hours per week with a flexible onsite or hybrid setup based on client needs. We value candidates who can adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining high standards of work quality.

Preferred Experience:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Experience working with Australian businesses is a plus
