Part-time Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team at Australian Outsource Desk Inc. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and reports.

About the Role

This is an on-site part-time position requiring 20 hours of work per week. The successful applicant will have a strong background in managing financial records and reporting, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and transactions, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations and standards.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial data, preparing and managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as processing payroll.
  • Assist with BAS preparation and lodgment, generating financial reports and providing insights to management.

Requirements

  • A proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in an Australian context, with proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
  • Knowledge of Australian BAS, payroll, and tax systems, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards. Additional benefits include additional leave and a flexible working schedule.

Work Setup

This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours of work per week, with an on-site setup based on client needs.
