Financial Management Specialist

An accounting officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability of an organization. With flexible work arrangements available, this position can be performed from a comfortable remote setting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze financial data to identify trends and make informed business decisions.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing accurate and timely financial information.
- Maintain and update financial records, including journals and ledgers.
- Collect and process employee timesheets, calculate work hours, and manage onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Utilize quality monitoring data management systems to track performance at the team and individual levels.
- Enter new employee data into the company's database and collaborate with the HR Manager to implement performance management and improvement systems.
- Contribute to policy development, documentation, and communication initiatives, as well as regulatory compliance and reporting.
- Monitor formats and quality standards, respond to employee inquiries, and distribute payment statements.
- Participate in meetings with top-level executives and communicate with various providers to enhance financial-related processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent field.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting-related roles.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Payroll Accountant.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Familiarity with manual bookkeeping, labor laws, and Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and creative skills, as well as attention to detail.
