Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This dual-role position involves managing both the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, and maintaining healthy financial relationships with our clients and vendors.

Job Description:

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and managing all accounts payable transactions, including invoice validation, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations.

  • They will also handle accounts receivable functions by generating invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and maintaining customer accounts.

  • The successful candidate will monitor accounts payable and receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts and discrepancies.

  • They will collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment issues with vendors and clients.

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in month-end closing activities is also essential.

  • The ideal candidate will provide regular financial reports related to accounts payable and receivable status and cash flow forecasts.

  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies, standards, and regulatory requirements is crucial.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles is required.

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar is necessary.

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations is essential.

  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail are required.

  • Solid communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and clients are necessary.

  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
