Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented bookkeeper with 5+ years of experience to join our remote team.

This role offers the opportunity to grow into a player-coach/team leader position, contributing to both internal operations and client-facing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with international accounting standards.
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
  • Utilize accounting software platforms such as AppFolio, Yardi Voyager, QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, ZOHO Books, and others.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management and client review.
  • Support audits, tax preparation, and financial analysis as needed.
  • Assist in developing and improving bookkeeping processes and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
  • Proven experience working with international companies, especially in the US market.
  • Strong proficiency in AppFolio, Yardi Voyager, and common accounting platforms like QuickBooks.
  • Familiarity with PM Bookkeeper, OJO Bookkeeping, Xero, FreshBooks, and ZOHO Books is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of US accounting practices and international financial standards.
  • Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and presentation).
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
