Job Title: Business Development Coordinator

About the Role

The Bid Coordinator is responsible for supporting the estimating team by managing bid documents, organizing proposal submissions, and coordinating deadlines.

Bid Preparation and Submission:

  • Lead the coordination and preparation of bid packages and proposals for various construction projects.
  • Ensure that all RFP's are submitted internally in a timely manner and in compliance with the requirements set out in the request for proposal (RFP) documents.

Document Management:

  • Manage and organize all bid documents, including RFPs, technical specifications, drawings, and other related documents.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the submission guidelines.

Team Coordination:

  • Work closely with the project manager, estimators, and other team members to gather necessary information, to facilitate the preparation of comprehensive bids.
  • Independently manage the workload calendar of your assigned region.
  • Extremely organized and meet workload demand and goals.
  • Tracking all customer contacts, bidding the same project for the estimator to send bids to.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced professional with:

  • Construction industry experience.
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings.
  • Proven track record of multitasking, as well as Outlook email organization.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office products knowledge. (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Highest levels of attention to detail to produce quality documents and an ability to work under pressure and demanding deadlines.
  • A positive attitude towards customers and the team every day.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects and understand prioritization.
  • A self-starter but able to work well in a team environment.
  • An exceptional desire to please the customer.
