Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Security Specialist to join our team. This role involves conducting security testing and providing recommendations to developers, as well as developing secure coding standards and guidelines.

The successful candidate will have experience in security coding, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript, and knowledge of cloud-native application security and containerized environments.

This is a hybrid position with 2 days of remote work per week, Monday to Friday day shift schedule, and an opportunity to work with a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct static (SAST) and dynamic (DAST) security testing and provide actionable remediation recommendations to developers.
  • Develop and maintain secure coding standards and guidelines.
  • Perform manual code reviews for high-risk applications or critical features.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in application security or software engineering with a strong focus on security.
  • Experience in security coding.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
