We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices.
- Analyze accounts payable data, reconcile accounts, and provide insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Verify invoice details, including prices, quantities, terms, and approvals, and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain vendor relationships, including setup, maintenance, and communication regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3+ years experience in accounts payable or related accounting functions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with vendors and stakeholders.
