Job Overview

The Inventory Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our supply chain, overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods to meet customer demand. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory control principles, systems, and best practices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Implement efficient inventory tracking systems, conduct regular cycle counts and audits to maintain high inventory accuracy, and prevent issues like overstocking and short/wrong picks.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with each Distribution Center (DC) site to ensure smooth operations and accurate inventory records.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify gaps, forecast future needs, and recommend process improvements.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train the Inventory Management Group (IMG) staff, including hiring and performance management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to enhance inventory management and control processes and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in inventory management, with expertise in inventory control principles, systems, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and process issues.
  • Leadership skills to supervise and motivate a multi-location team, potentially including hiring and performance management.
