Job Overview

This role requires key members of our team to maintain and restore the optimal operating performance of power plant condensers and heat exchangers. A significant portion of travel will be across the US, with airfare, lodging, and daily per diem provided.

This is a 100% traveling job, overnight stays included.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean condenser and heat exchange tubes using water pump systems and assorted tube cleaners.
  • Monitor pressure gauges to identify drops or rises in pressure from the water pump system.
  • Lift, transport, assemble/disassemble, carry, or move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Inventory trailers to ensure job readiness after each assignment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all service equipment.
  • Set up support equipment as needed (generator and compressor).
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Able to obtain a TWIC card from the Transportation Security Administration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment on-site.
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and moving for extended periods (8+ hours per day).
  • Working in outdoor and indoor environments, sometimes in extreme weather conditions.
