Job Title: Maintenance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to fill an open position.

Maintenance Specialists are responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. They must be able to perform routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
