Loan Processing Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in redefining mortgage support by providing exceptional loan processing services to our clients.
Responsibilities- Collect, verify, and organize borrower documentation (income statements, credit reports, bank statements, etc.)
- Prepare and review loan applications for completeness before submission
- Input and maintain accurate data in the loan origination system (LOS) and CRM
- Coordinate and follow up with appraisers, title companies, and insurance providers
- Track loan file progress and ensure compliance requirements and deadlines are met
- Draft and send communications to clients, partners, and internal teams on behalf of the Loan Officer
- Assist with pipeline management, reporting, file status checks, and escalation of urgent issues
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of experience in mortgage brokerage or financial services (loan processing or origination support is a plus)
- Familiarity with loan origination systems (Encompass, Calyx, or similar) is desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple files, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
