A Medical Claims Examiner plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate submission of healthcare claims to insurance companies. In this position, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls from patients, providers, and insurance companies, while also maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound and outbound calls regarding inquiries, appointments, and data verification.
- Process medical claims efficiently and effectively.
- Verify insurance coverage and review denied claims.
- Assist patients with billing questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Qualified candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as prior experience in insurance billing or a related field. Additionally, proficiency in computer systems and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
