Artificial Intelligence Specialist

This role involves driving AI adoption and enablement across bank functions, reporting to the Head of AI Strategy and Adoption.

The successful candidate will deliver data-driven solutions that are core to Group Operations strategy, build and maintain machine learning models to detect and prevent financial crimes, and implement Generative AI solutions to generate synthetic data for training.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in model optimization and hyperparameter tuning for high precision and recall in fraud detection and compliance applications, advanced understanding of statistical methods and anomaly detection to identify suspicious patterns in financial data, and hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) techniques.

  • Strategy: Deliver, build and maintain data-driven solutions that are core to Group Operations strategy.
  • Business: Provide thought leadership in data science techniques and business applications to unlock the value of SCB's data sets and external information.
  • Regulatory & Business Conduct: Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct, ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

The role requires working with senior management to develop and refine the bank's AI strategy, identifying and prioritizing AI use cases with significant business value, and developing business cases for AI projects, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and ROI estimation.
