Job Description

As a remote proctor, you will be responsible for administering and overseeing standardized exams for students using the Zoom platform. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the education industry or those seeking to supplement their income with meaningful work.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will need to prepare testing materials, monitor students during their exams, and communicate with headquarters staff when issues arise during exams.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare testing materials and monitor students during their exams
  • Meticulously time students across up to five different exam types per session
  • Observe, take notes, and ensure exam protocols are strictly followed
  • Communicate with headquarters staff when issues arise during exams
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills:

  • Availability of 4–20 hours on Saturdays and Sundays between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM PST
  • Flexibility to accept weekday proctoring sessions is a plus
  • No previous proctoring experience required — in-depth paid training and shadowing opportunities will be provided
  • Prior standardized testing or experience working with middle and high school students is a plus
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
  • Reliable, punctual, and receptive to feedback
  • Strict adherence to protocol and professional conduct
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills, as this is a client-facing position
