Business Development Manager

The role of Business Development Manager will involve spearheading the growth of our B2B/B2C platform by expanding our network of high-end furniture and premium food suppliers, and fostering commercial partnerships.

This is a hands-on position that requires a proactive approach to ensure a seamless flow of products and a premium experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, source, and secure new suppliers by negotiating and finalizing supply and wholesale agreements.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for all new suppliers.
  • Maintain and update product catalogs, including complex multi-tiered pricing structures.
Operational Excellence:
  • Coordinate logistics and fulfillment to guarantee efficient and timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor day-to-day platform operations to ensure a seamless customer experience and quickly resolve any issues.
Performance & Reporting:
  • Track and analyze key business metrics such as profit margins, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), stock levels, and lead times.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to management with clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier management, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to confidently manage professional relationships via phone and email.
  • Strong analytical skills with a talent for identifying trends and working with data.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce operations and proficiency in using spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel) and CRM tools.
