Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Expert to join our team. This key role will oversee and optimize all aspects of our supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing costs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the complete supply chain, from sourcing materials to final delivery.
  • Manage, track, and optimize the outbound logistics from supplier to warehouse daily to ensure timely delivery and avoid fines.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
Logistics & Inventory Management:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs. They will also create regular Purchase Orders using inventory planning software and in-house systems, following established criteria with transparent documentation of quantity determinations.

  • Vendor & Partner Relations:
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and building relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with logistics partners to resolve issues, optimize transit times, and enhance service levels.
Compliance & Risk Management:

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring all supply chain activities comply with relevant US regulations and international standards. They will identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to address disruptions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics management, preferably within the e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Proven track record of managing warehouse operations, including in-house and/or third-party logistics.
  • Proven track record in purchasing and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and data analysis tools.
Technical Skills:

The successful candidate will have proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems, as well as experience with project management and collaboration software such as ClickUp and Slack. Experience with e-commerce platform Shopify is strongly preferred.
