Job Title: Supply Chain Optimization Expert

Job Description:

The Supply Chain Optimization Expert plays a pivotal role in streamlining and enhancing all facets of the supply chain process. With expertise in Australian/US FMCG markets, this position demands strong analytical, communication, and influence skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement in inventory management, production planning, and demand management.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and scenario planning to anticipate and mitigate risks, providing insights that support both short-term and longer-term operational decisions.

This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional supply chain teams to support daily operations and improve process efficiency. The ideal candidate will maintain and develop comprehensive reports across planning activities, inventory levels, and key supply chain metrics to support informed decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain master data in COGNOS and AX (MRP) to ensure data accuracy and operational alignment.
  • Oversee Coles-specific order and distribution settings, creating and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the VRP function with actionable insights.
  • Manage DIFOT reporting and analysis, conducting weekly planning, generating manufacturing batch orders, analysing inventory constraints, and proposing mitigation strategies to meet service targets.
  • Support the refinement of planning processes through data-driven insights, ensuring service levels are maintained or exceeded, and applying a strong understanding of business operations to influence value-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess specialised knowledge in Australian/US FMCG markets and have excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. A strong understanding of business operations and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams is essential.
