Job Overview

This position requires a strong technical leader who can drive architectural decisions, optimize existing systems, and lead the delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise and experience leading small engineering teams to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement the technical architecture for AI agent platforms.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of engineers in designing, building, and optimizing front-end and back-end systems.
  • Collaborate with founders, product, and engineering to align architecture with business objectives.
Hands-On Development:
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable systems using Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, and Axios APIs.
  • Develop automation workflows using N8N and integrate vector stores/databases.
  • Code and implement solutions that meet scalability, security, and innovation requirements.
Infrastructure & Deployment:
  • Manage and optimize deployments using Docker, Docker Compose, and hypervisors.
  • Oversee Linux-based development environments, including scripting, automation, and performance optimization.
  • Implement and maintain secure local and remote deployments with Cloudflare instance management.
Security & Networking:
  • Architect and secure local networks and deployment environments.
  • Contribute to enterprise-grade security discussions as the company scales.
  • Work across multiple projects balancing optimization of existing systems with rollout of new features.
  • Use Git versioning and project management tools to ensure clean workflows, visibility, and collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in AI automation and workflow orchestration.
  • Advanced experience with Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, and Axios API.
  • Strong infrastructure background with Docker/Docker Compose and Linux-based development.
  • Hands-on experience with local networks, system security, and architecture design.
  • Experience managing remote deployments and instances.
  • Extensive experience with Git versioning and modern project management practices.
  • Ability to balance hands-on coding with architectural leadership in a startup environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Enterprise-grade security architecture experience.
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and AI agent frameworks.
