The Financial Management Professional will oversee clients' financial records, prepare tax returns, and provide expert advice on financial compliance. This position requires a detail-oriented and knowledgeable individual with extensive experience in bookkeeping and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss reports and balance sheets.
- Tax Preparation Services:
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.
- Advise clients on tax-saving strategies and financial planning to minimize tax liabilities.
- Financial Analysis and Insights:
- Analyze clients' financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Provide recommendations for budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
- Client Communication and Support:
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial situation and tax obligations.
- Address client inquiries and provide solutions related to tax and bookkeeping issues.
- Administrative Support:
- Organize and maintain financial documents and ensure they are readily available for audits or reviews.
- Collaborate with other team members to support overall financial operations.
- Experience in bookkeeping with a strong focus on tax preparation and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
