Accounting Clerk Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk to support our financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including categorizing transactions, onboarding customers and vendors, sending invoices and credit memos, coding bills, maintaining subledger schedules, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Categorize bank and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Onboard new customers and vendors to our system, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Prepare and send invoices and credit memos in a timely manner.
  • Code bills and maintain subledger schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to guarantee financial accuracy and integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with accrual accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with GAAP compliant settings and annual audits is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Drive is advantageous.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and certification is highly desirable.
