Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our finance department and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
    • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and minimize the risk of overdrafts
  • Manage supplier payments and accounts payable to optimize cash outflows
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable to ensure timely payment
  • Issue customer invoices and manage accounts receivable and credit control to maximize cash inflows
Payroll and Expenses:
  • Support end-to-end payroll processing, including reconciliations and adjustments
  • Manage employee expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations to maintain the highest level of integrity

Requirements:

  • Broad experience in finance roles, particularly in US or UK GAAP environments
  • Track record of process improvement and automation in finance functions
  • Strong knowledge of management accounts preparation and general ledger maintenance
  • Excellent English communication skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy
  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CPA)
