
Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to support our customers across the EMEA region.
In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise, answer product-related queries, and assist in designing solutions that meet customer needs.
You'll be a key technical advisor during the sales cycle, ensuring a smooth and informed buying experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to the Sales Team serving commercial customers in the 1–100 user segment
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them navigate security challenges and maximize the value of Sophos full product portfolio with emphasis on MDR, XDR, Firewall, incident response preparedness, and proactive risk reduction
- Lead the technical sales cycle from opportunity qualification through to technical closure, acting as the primary technical point of contact
- Support sales campaigns aimed at driving product adoption, as well as cross-selling and upselling opportunities within both existing and new customers
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical presales role in cybersecurity, with proven leadership in customer and partner engagements
- Knowledge in the following areas is an advantage:
- MDR, EDR/XDR, and SIEM/SOAR solutions
- Network and Endpoint Security, including Endpoint Protection, Firewall, Email Security, Wireless, and Mobile Security
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and network security (L2–L7)
- Strong presentation, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and thrive in a team environment
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity industry, including competitors, market needs, and trends
