Logistics Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, scheduling pickups, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Track shipments from origin to destination, including customs clearance and documentation.
  • Prepare and organize import documentation, including invoices and packing lists.
  • Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies and communicating with customers as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to logistics operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration or relevant field.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and ability to apply principles to daily work.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in using Windows-based desktop software, including Microsoft Office and basic office tools.
