About the Role
  • Develop business strategy to enhance Surbana Jurong - SMEC presence in Philippines Port and Maritime Sector.
  • Work jointly with sub-regional lead to develop plans.
  • Develop marketing strategy and deploy marketing campaigns within approved budgets.
  • Engage Port and Maritime clients in Philippines. Lead discussions with clients to appraise SJ-SMEC P&M capabilities.
  • Build strategic relationships with key clients.
  • Liaise and manage stakeholders, such as clients, design teams, site teams and other relevant parties.
  • Lead vendor registration process for potential Ports and Maritime clients in Philippines.
  • Act as a bid manager and lead tender submissions. Work closely with sub-regional lead on internal approval processes for tender submissions.
  • Lead teams of engineers and draftspersons.
  • Act as project managers and project reviewers for successful delivery of projects.
  • Ensure all engineering works comply with statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice and maintain high quality standards of design, supervision as well as guiding junior engineers.
