About the Role

This is a highly sought-after position in purchasing and supply chain management.

As a contracts and procurement officer, you will be responsible for managing the accreditation of potential consultants, vendors, service providers, and contractors. This includes periodically searching and updating the resource pool to ensure compliance with procurement best practices and company policies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Promote contractual relationships by identifying, assessing, and managing suppliers;
  • Undertake periodic audits to update the supplier pool and maintain their eligibility for contracting;
  • Prepare draft agreements and recommend them to business units for approval;
  • Lead negotiations and recommend final contracts for approval;
  • Monitor progress via milestones, deadlines, and payments;
  • Report delays and withhold payments when necessary;
  • Recommend amendments to existing and new contracts;
  • Communicate regularly with consultants, service providers, and vendors;
  • Recordkeeping of documents, communications, and correspondence throughout the contracting cycle;

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills, fluency in written and oral English, excellent communication skills, and computer competency.
