Job Overview

The Facility Manager oversees the upkeep and operational efficiency of company facilities and equipment. This role involves coordinating a team to ensure all physical assets perform reliably.

  • Schedule, plan, and execute maintenance and repair work, minimizing disruption to operations.
  • Develop a preventive maintenance program to reduce emergency repairs and maintain facility efficiency.
  • Manage maintenance resources, including procurement and cost control.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance personnel, promoting safety, teamwork, and high performance.
  • Liaise with external contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and contractual agreements.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
  • Oversee new equipment installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring it meets operational requirements and safety standards.
Requirements

Education: College Graduate in Facilities Management or Engineering

Experience/Skill: At least five years in a related field

Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills

Hands-on experience managing maintenance teams in big corporations or multiple sites/stores
