Job Title

The primary objective of this role is to develop and implement efficient maintenance schedules and plans for sorting machines.

This will involve analyzing machine performance data to identify areas for improvement and prioritizing maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.

  • Maintenance Planning:
    Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to ensure the smooth operation of sorting machines.
    Monitor machine performance metrics, including production rates, error rates, and equipment reliability.
  • Compliance And Safety:
    Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
    Implement best practices for safe operation and maintenance of sorting machines.
  • Scheduling And Coordination:
    Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize disruptions.
    Manage resources effectively to ensure that necessary parts, tools, and personnel are available for maintenance tasks.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting regular inspections and diagnostics of sorting machines to identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, and software problems efficiently.
  • Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and machine performance.
  • Preparing reports on maintenance issues, downtime, and corrective actions taken.
  • Analyzing maintenance processes and suggesting improvements to enhance machine reliability and performance.

Key qualifications include:

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum [5] years of experience working with PLC systems in an industrial setting.
  • Proficient in using Google Sheets to generate reports, maintenance logs, schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a mid-senior level position that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance planning and execution.
