Senior Accountant Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant Leader to oversee a portfolio of SME clients in Australia.


About the Role

This role involves leading a team of accountants, ensuring high client satisfaction, and providing exceptional accounting and tax services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a portfolio of Australian startup and SME clients, delivering comprehensive accounting and tax services.
  • Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients to ensure seamless tax compliance.
  • BAS preparation and submission, as well as tax return preparation and submission.
  • Supervise remote bookkeeping clients to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Advise clients on various accounting and taxation matters.
  • Hire, train, nurture, and grow a team of ambitious accountants.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team of accountants servicing Australian clients.
  • Proven experience in team management, including hiring, training, and nurturing a team of ambitious accountants.
  • Strong background in managing a portfolio of SME clients with scope ranging from bookkeeping to taxation services.
  • Excellent command of client communication and delivery organisation.
